Description
The huge Trapiche firm, the largest wine producer in Argentina as well as one of the country’s oldest (it was founded in 1883), has built a strong reputation for high-quality inexpensive wines as well as for their high-end vineyard-designated Malbecs. Qua | Purpled-colored, the nose offers up pain grille, mineral,plums and black cherry notes with a touch of black pepper. The palate is soft and round, with ripe, saturated berry flavors. Finishes spicy and full, with chewy tannins.
